A few months ago, registering for baby necessities and baby gifts felt like a chore. I think this was due to the fact that I really had no idea what a baby needs. Setting up a wedding registry was way more fun because Nate and I both like to cook and were thrilled to stock our kitchen with new dishes, gadgets and appliances.
Well, Nate will be the first to admit that he was not enthusiastically involved in registering for Baby B, but I can say that, for me, it doesn't feel like a chore anymore. As my belly gets bigger, I have more interest in researching what a baby needs and which brands might be better than others. A few people have asked me to post our registries here on our blog, so here they are:
Satara Baby
Amazon
Target
p.s. if you're wondering just how big the belly is, be patient - I will post another picture soon!

Escaping the Cold
On Thursday evening we flew from Madison to Florida for a little get-a-way in Key West. Our destination was unknown to me until we got to the gate of our connecting flight in Dallas...Nate is one of the best trip planners that I know! We enjoyed lots of great seafood and loved feeling the warmth of the sun after a cold couple of months in Wisconsin.
We stayed at a great bed and breakfast in Key West and enjoyed a wonderful sailing/snorkling/kayaking cruise on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully now we are re-energized to make it through the rest of the winter and the rest of this pregnancy!
